| Many, many thanks to breeder Barbara Ray of Salt City Shelties for sending this stunning young dog to us in Canada! We are so excited to have Duke here, and look forward to seeing him strut his stuff in the rings as well seeing his progeny! Duke took to the ring with a bang. Finishing in only a few weekends out, with multiple best of breeds and group wins. His first day out as a special garners him a Group 1st win. Duke is sired by Ch Denian Deuce's Are Wild, "Deuce", the #5 Sheltie in the USA (2007) who excelled in beauty and movement. Duke's littermate, Ch Salt City Man On A Mission, "Russia" became a champion with eleven shows in one month at the tender age of fourteen months. Duke has other littermates, one that is a Canadian champion, Ch Apple Acres Travelocity (owned by Michelle Rogowski of Cassbar Shelties) and one in the Netherlands (Holland), Salt City The Dark Knight, where he is well on his way to becoming a champion in Europe. Just take a look at Duke's quality pedigree that shows beautiful dogs from start to finish. Duke took a little longer maturing than his litter mates but has proven he can show in style and get noticed! Duke is stunning at 15 1/2" tall, beautiful lean headpiece, pretty top line, nice balance in body, sound smooth movement, full dentition, white factored and to top it off he has a wonderful temperament. |
